heyhey!

=) I like the flowers a lot. They’ve got great shape and texture. One thing you might want to do is heighten the contrast a little more, so that the flowers become more 3-D and are not as ‘flat’. A little contrast can go a long way.

Hi Beni! This is a really great piece of art! *clap* The colours on the cracked vase is awesome, I really get that bronze feeling from looking at your painting. And the way you painted the glass bottle is really pro too. I think it looks transparent and yet “full” at the same time, like a bottle filled with mellow good wine. Not to mention, I think the background was done really well too The whole thing looks like an oil painting in fact. But one thing is that I think the shape of the vase is a little weird haha. but it’s okay great work!

Where do you go to take all these awesome photographs. ;__; The sunlight in all of them (and those in other posts) is something realy rare, not something you can see in the city everyday. Good capture. The grasses and reeds are a nice contrast, and so is the house(thingy). Their various distances give a sense of depth. Nice. (:

The martini and disc ball are nicely done, but the girl appears a little flat unrealistic in contrast. This may have something to do with the fact that you pieced it together in photoshop so it’s somewhat disjointed. Haha. The original of the disco ball was also nicer, I think, because there was no contrast and shininess. Great sense of colour again. Go Beni! (:

I like the whole rushed, sketchy feel of it. It’s like the Impressionist style? The colours are well chosen too, but I’m not sure what’s in front of the sunset? It’s a bit unclear, but that’s not a bad thing. (:

The textures are brilliant, Beni. The pot especially, it seems very realistic, like actual pottery. The crack on the wall, the light falling on the bottle, the wall, and the weathered label of the bottle, all colours and textures done very well. Only thing is that the shadows look a bit stiff. I think you have skill in painting and good sense of colour. Well done.
