Something non-coursework-related which I did for fun with acrylics and ballpoint pen. Hmm. I’m starting to find this style really fun, might want to explore this further. I tried to go for something subtly scary for this, though I don’t know if I’ve succeeded. :\
“There’s something /wrong/ with this girl… I just can’t put my finger on it. Maybe it’s the way she’s holding her doll by the hair and dragging the poor thing around. Wait, wait, no, ARGH!”
I suggest you don’t play dolls and houses with her. Something bad might happen to you.

Some loose sketches for my coursework on Dance. All poses referenced from pictures on Audrey Hepburn. I forgot the book which I took reference from though. ):

Done in pencil for my coursework theme Dance. Originally I had wanted to go along with the idea of creating an entire culture that revolves around dance, and that their main god was the Goddess of Dance, symbolizing both grace and strength. Something like that. Scrapped the idea, though. Haha. Maybe I will expand on it another time.

Another piece for my current coursework, DANCE, also done in pencil. The original photograph was by
Sarachmet on DeviantART. “When I first saw these girls dancing and laughing, they seemed to be ghosts who had been dancing this way for a long, long time before [...] the only thing that’s changing, is time or everything around, not them…”

Done in pencil for my current coursework on the theme of DANCE. Referenced from a picture of the timeless Audrey Hepburn with her dance instructor (?), in preparation for a film.

A bit of acrylics practice, since I haven’t touched them in ages. Drawn in ballpoint first before being painted over.

Miele (seen
here previously), Slayer of All that gives Down There Trouble, and Messenger to the Mortal Plane. She likes scaring pigeons and giving plane pilots severe cardiac arrests.

Sei, her long-suffering angel counterpart. Used to be a Records Keeper for Up There, now downgraded to also being a Messenger to the Mortal Plane. Obviously, he is not amused. (Imagine a big, pointy, deadly sword in his hands offscreen. I had no space to draw it in.)
They’re not cleaned up, because well, they are supposed to be just practice sketches. Had fun drawing these two characters again. Both of them look better in real-life sketchbook paper.

Evidently, I was thinking too much of getting my hands on Granado Espada when I put the teXt down there. Cat was found from Getty-images.com, I think. Also done during Advanced Photoshop sabbaticals, yet another wallpaper design.

Done during Advanced Photoshop sabbaticals, which I somehow feel wasn’t very advanced, more like a step-by-step tutorial on how to achieve special effects that we already knew. Oh well. Wallpaper design made using shapes and filters. Brightness/darkness-wise, may be a bit wonky.

Also done for my Illustration project, using watercolours and a little acrylic paint? Who doesn’t dream of having mountains upon mountains of sweets when they are younger?

Done with watercolours for the Illustration project. The theme was Fantasy: and my illustration project traces how the fantasies of women change as they age.
